NEW SONG: Ariana Grande Ft. Big Sean – ‘Right There’

Ariana Grande is giving her fans a taste of what to expect on her debut album, “Yours Truly.” The 20-year-old songbird enlisted Big Sean on her new track “Right There,” which samples the beat on jazz group Jeff Lorber Fusion’s classic song “Rain Dance” (Lil Kim sampled this song on her hit song “Crush On You”).

Speaking on her new song Grande told MTV, “I love it. I can’t say it’s one of my favorites on the album because they’re all my favorites, but it’s really cool and he killed it. I love his verse.”

Hey Jessica,
Awww, that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever heard. Think of a friend you know with younger siblings and babysit them first, so it’s someone you’re familiar with. Do an amazing job. No doubt those kids have some friends that need to be babysat at home point as well! Word of mouth is your best friend. Get lots of parents buzzing about what a great job you do. When I was 13, I wanted to start my own babysitting business (long before Sam & Cat haha). I took a babysitting course online just to make sure I felt qualified to do the job. I also took an American Heart Association online CPR course and learned how to make some basic meals in case that was asked of me. I never got any clients though, so who am I to give advice? Lol. ~Jennette

It’s my best friend’s Sweet 16 coming up and I want to get her an amazing git. I just don’t have the money! What are some cool things I can make or put together that will show her how much I care? ~Kelsey
Hi Kelsey,
Think of your friend and do something really specific to her liking. Cook her favorite meal, baker her 16 of her favorite desserts (16 cupcakes, 16 brownies, etc), make a scrapbook of your friendship together, use iPhoto and make a photo book for around $20, write her a song if you’re musically inclined, or offer to give her a mani/pedi. You could also think of your own thing, but I think my ideas were pretty great. :P ~Jennette

My parents won’t let me wear makeup yet, only lip gloss. It’s really embarassing because all my friends are allowed to wear it. What’s the best way to talk to my parents so they will change their minds? ~Callie
Hey Callie,
I didn’t start wearing a drop of makeup in real life until I was 16. I was not the norm, however, and now I totally love it, so I see where you’re coming from! Talk to your parents and let them know that you realize a little goes a long way when it comes to makeup. Ask if there’s a compromise. Maybe they’ll let you wear lip gloss and mascara. If not, respect their rules. Look through magazines and cut out pictures of makeup you’d love to try out when you are allowed to. Fashion Angels makes a really cool booklet where you can color makeup onto bare faces… take this time as an opportunity to try out mistakes on paper and instead of on your face! By the time you’re wearing makeup, you’ll be a pro with color coordination and application techniques.

Yaritza Reyes Named 2013 Miss Dominican Republic

The representative of the westernDominican province of Elias Piña was elected Miss Dominican Republic 2013 on the weekend.

Yaritza Reyes was chosen from a total of 31 beauties at a ceremony on Saturday in the eastern resort of Punta Cana.

For several weeks, the contestants from the various provinces followed a hectic agenda that included physical activities, modeling rehearsals, speaking and dramatic training, as well as making visits to the theater and other tourist attractions.

Reyes will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, which will be held Nov. 9 in Moscow.

The two-hour competition was held in the Teatro Fillmore at the Hard Rock & Casino Punta Cana, and during the show - among other things - the young women modeled bathing suits and evening gowns.

The six finalists were the contestants from the Dominican community in the United States, Guayacanes, Peravia, Samana, the National District and Elias Piña.

So What's Up With the Prosthetic Arm Lady Gaga Has Been Using in Her Promo Photos?

(Facebook)Lady Gaga has yet to officially tease any snippets of her upcoming album, ARTPOP, but she has been offering major thematic hints with her promo material. In pictures posted to the performer's Facebook, she sports surprisingly natural-looking makeup, no shirt, ridiculous shoes, and a funky prosthetic arm.

So... what's that about?

In a Facebook post late Thursday night, Gaga hinted that it had something to do about how she feels having to wait to release the new tunes. 

Yes: "IF I HAD TO GO ANOTHER MONTH WITHOUT PLAYING THE NEW MUSIC I THINK ID CHEW MY ARM OFF." 

She's so deep, that Mother Monster.

Thankfully, Gaga will retain both arms, as her new single "Applause" is due for release on August 19, along with a video shot by Gaga's artsy pals Inez & Vinoodh.

Selena Gomez is 'Homesick,' Cozies Up to a New Dude — Who Is He?

While Justin Bieber is out kissing Aiana Grande and hanging out with thirtysomething cocktail waitresses, Selena Gomez is "homesick" and snuggling up to a new dude of her own. Or so it seemed on Instagram last night. 

However, this picture isn't what might seem.

The dark snapshot of Gomez in a beanie touching foreheads with a dude in a beanie is totally innocent — he's her former Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie . They're the best of friends and worked together on the show for years, so don't get too excited about the starlet's love life just yet, guys. 

The two also had a lunch date in June, as friends.
